This handsome cat is Lynford.
Originally, he was a feral cat, and it was a job and a half to catch him; hence his name, Lynford, as in Lynford Christie, the Athlete.
When he arrived at our house, he had to be shaved or his fur. It was badly matted, and as you can imagine, he was not at all plead. If you were lucky, he would only hiss at you. if you were unlucky, then he would either bite you or scratch you.
We've had him a number of years now, and he has become a big softy. Now, he only hisses if frightened.
